Open University
Having graduated in the University of Life I decided it was about time to do the job properly, so in 2001 I started studying for a degree in Human Geography with the Open University. Into my 3rd year now having completed modules in Social Sciences and the Environment, with the current module developing different aspects of geographical imaginations. This is an exciting course looking at contemporary issues of global and economic change - sustainability of resources and ways of life, transnational pollution, geopolitical boundaries since the cold war, rapid movement of work and multinationals across the globe, consequences of mass migrations and dislocated peoples to illustrate what it is like to think geographically.
This is now on hold until I am finished with LEJOG, which seems to have completely taken over my life.
